Terms of Service

The short version: Issue Atlas reads your GitHub issues and pull requests (read-only) and draws them as a live dependency graph. Use it through your own GitHub account, don't try to see anything you couldn't already see on GitHub, and don't overload it. Paid plans are billed by GitHub Marketplace — we never touch your card. It's provided "as is" with no uptime guarantee, and you can leave any time by uninstalling.

What Issue Atlas is

Issue Atlas is a GitHub App, operated by Midz Labs, that reads a repository's issues, pull requests, labels and native dependency links (GitHub's "blocked by" relationships and sub-issues) and renders them as a live dependency graph at atlas.midz.dev. It has read-only access — it never writes to, changes, or opens anything in your repositories.

You need a GitHub account

You use Issue Atlas by signing in with GitHub and installing the app on the repositories you want to map. You need a GitHub account, and your use of GitHub is governed by GitHub's own terms — those apply alongside these. You're responsible for activity under your account.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

try to access repositories, issues, or data you aren't authorised to see on GitHub, or work around GitHub's access controls;
overload or disrupt the service — excessive automated requests, large-scale scraping, or probing for vulnerabilities;
resell or repackage the service as your own without our permission;
use it for anything unlawful.

We check your GitHub permissions before showing you any repository, so you only ever see what you could already see on GitHub.

Plans & billing

Issue Atlas is free for public repositories and paid for private ones. Paid plans run entirely through GitHub Marketplace: personal accounts pay a flat rate, organisations pay per seat, and paid plans start with a 14-day free trial. GitHub handles all billing, renewals, upgrades, downgrades and cancellations, and GitHub's Marketplace terms apply to your purchase. We never see or store your card or bank details. You can change or cancel your plan any time from GitHub.

The graph is derived from GitHub

The dependency graph is built from data we read from GitHub. It can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong — for example if GitHub data is missing, an update is delayed, or relationships aren't modelled the way you expect. Treat it as a helpful view, not a source of truth, and check GitHub itself before relying on it for anything important.

Provided "as is"

Issue Atlas is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time, and we give no uptime guarantee. We may change, add, remove, or discontinue features at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Midz Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for lost profits, data, or business, arising from your use of (or inability to use) Issue Atlas. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Suspension & leaving

We may suspend or remove access if an account abuses the service or breaks these terms. You can stop using Issue Atlas at any time by uninstalling the GitHub App — that stops data collection and triggers deletion of the cached data for those repositories (see the Privacy Policy).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. If we make a material change we'll flag it here or in the app. Continuing to use Issue Atlas after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute — without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
